Specialist Michael Conner Humphreys (born 1985) is an American soldier and former child actor best known for playing the role of Forrest Gump as a boy in the 1994 Oscar-winning drama film, "Forrest Gump". He also played a small role in the Hallmark movie "A Painted House".

He was born in Memphis, Tennessee, U.S. He joined the U.S. Army in 2005 and is currently an infantryman assigned to a tank battalion. After a year deployed to Iraq in its dangerous Anbar Province, Humphreys was transferred to Fort Riley, Kansas. He left the Army when his enlistment ended on June 4 2008, and has already landed a part in an upcoming World War II film, "Pathfinders".
