Bernhard Kaboga

Count Bernhard Kabudžić-Crijević (also "Caboga-Cerva"; February 6 1785 - November 19 1855) was a count and general from the Austrian Empire later dualist Austria-Hungary Army. He was born in Dubrovnik in 1785. He was from old Ragusan noble family of the House of Kabudžić.

He graduated from an engineering academy. In 1803 he was oberlieutenant in the cartographic service, fastened 1806 Triest, defended 1809 the passport lies and was assigned 1813 to the army of the Swedish Crown Prince. After diplomatic missions to the Joni islands, Albania and Montenegro working at Okkupation Neapels 1821 1827-19 with the prince of Hessen Homburg in Russian headquarters, in 1824 Major, in 1830 Obertslt. u. Kommandant des Mineur-Korps, 1831/32 in the staff of the marshals Dibitsch and Paskević, then on the attachments Dalmatians and Bohmens and Commander of the Mineur corps (1835). 1836-38 at the “modenensichen Hofe”, with the sons of the duke of Modena,he was assigned to Chieff of Fortifikations-Direktor in Bohmen, then their Colonel master. 1838 into the general genius management (Genie-Korps) appoint and Major General. 1846 field marshal lieutenant, 1849 Gerneraldirektor and 1854 Feldzeugmeister.May 7 1838 GM, April 3 1846 FML, 24 April 1854 FZM.

He married in 1833 with the widow Julianne Wanda Potocki, 1788, 18 September 1876 in Lemberg, not have any children.

He died in Vienna in 1855.
