"Akuemon" is the sixth and last anime episode in the Lion Books series. It was an OVA release [World Art Russia. " [http://www.world-art.ru/animation/animation.php?id=3398 World Art Russia Info] ." "Akuemon." Retrieved on 2006-12-12.] . This episode was never broadcasted on Japanese TV, but instead in a Hong Kong film festival. The story is about a fox outwitting a hunter and choosing to live out his life in the temple with a squirrel companion.

It was re-released as a DVD in March 21, 2003 on the same disk as Adachi-ga Hara.
