The "Breeze-Courier" is a newspaper in Taylorville, Illinois, United States, serving Christian County. It is published afternoons from Monday through Friday, and on Sunday morning.

History

The "Breeze-Courier" has been in business for over 100 years. Its current owner and publisher, Marylee Lasswell, is the daughter of former owner James Cooper.

Taylorville has had many other newspapers in the past. The first newspaper was called The Taylorville "Journal". During the 1950s and '60s there were two newspapers in Taylorville. One was the "Breeze" and the other was the "Courier", which merged to form the "Breeze-Courier".
