The Bengali Wikipedia ( _bn. বাংলা উইকিপিডিয়া) is the Bengali language version of Wikipedia, run by the Wikimedia Foundation. As of July 18, 2007, it has over 16,000 articles and is the 53rd largest Wikipedia by article count. Like Hindi Wikipedia, it has a phonetic latin alphabet to Bengali script tool so latin alphabet keyboards can be used to type Bengali without downloading any software.
