David García de la Cruz, David García (born 16 January 1981 in Manresa), is a Spanish footballer, currently playing for RCD Espanyol in "La Liga", usually at left back.

A product of RCD Espanyol's youth system, García made his first team debut on January 8, 2000 (0-0 home tie with Deportivo de La Coruña), and became a regular fixture in 2001-02. He is second team captain after Raúl Tamudo, the only player to have been on Espanyol's books for longer.

With a contract until June 2009, García said he intended to see out his career with Espanyol, stating: "I can't imagine myself wearing any other shirt."
