"Stanislaw Stories" is the first full length album from San Francisco prog rock / math rock instrumental band We Be the Echo.It was recorded in 2005 at John Vanderslice's Tiny Telephone Studios in San Francisco by engineer/producer Aaron Prellwitz, and released by Chuckbeat Records in 2006.

The title, "Stanislaw Stories" comes from the same source as the band name; the hallucinations of the Yorkshire Ripper, Peter Sutcliffe. "Stanislaw" is the first name of the man whose grave Sutcliffe claimed he heard voices emanating from in Bingley cemetery (Although the actual name is "Bronislaw", Sutcliffe said it was "Stanislaw"). He claimed at his trial [http://www.execulink.com/~kbrannen/trial04.htm] that these voices instructed him to commit his murder spree, and among other things he heard the phrase "We Be the Echo".

Graeme Nicholls - guitar

Myke Stryker - bass

Ilk Koskelo - drums
