Heinie Peitz

Henry Clement "Heinie" Peitz (November 28, 1870 - October 23, 1943) born in St. Louis, Missouri was a catcher for the St. Louis Browns/St. Louis Cardinals (1892-95 and 1913), Cincinnati Reds (1896-1904) and Pittsburgh Pirates (1905-06).

In 16 seasons he played in 1,234 Games and had 4,121 At Bats, 532 Runs, 1,117 Hits, 191 Doubles, 66 Triples, 16 Home Runs, 560 RBI, 91 Stolen Bases, 409 Walks, .271 Batting Average, .342 On-base percentage, .361 Slugging Percentage, 1,488 Total Bases and 71 Sacrifice Hits.

Peitz died in Cincinnati, Ohio at the age of 72.
