John Bourgeois (born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada) is a bilingual actor, director and teacher. He got his training at Webber Douglas Academy of Drama in London, England, United Kingdom and at the Concordia University in Montreal, Canada where he received a B.A. in English and Theatre. He has appeared in leading stage roles at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival, Off-Broadway, the Walnut Street theatre in Philadelphia, United States and the Manitoba Theatre Centre among many others. As a director, he's staged works for theatres across Canada. He has written two plays for the stage, including Tansey's "Brag and Walking on Crimson", which was subsequently taped for television and radio. An accomplished screen actor with numerous credits, he has appeared in character roles in episodic television, movies of the week, international mini-series as well as in both major studio and independent feature films. He is the director of the screen acting program at Humber College in Toronto.
