Fungai Mwarowa

Fungai Mwarowa (born August 2, 1963) is a Zimbabwean sculptor.

Born in Chimanimani, Mwarowa was the son of a plumber. He completed his O Levels in 1987. In 1990 he began sculpting by assisting Joram Mariga; he spent five years learning the craft, working with some of the hardest local stones. In 1995 he became an artist in residence at the Chapungu Sculpture Park, where he still works.
