Olympic medal record Men's Athletics Silver 1968 Mexico City 4x400 metre relay Daniel Rudisha (born August 11, 1945) is a retired Kenyan athlete who competed mainly in the 400 metres.
He competed for Kenya in the 1968 Summer Olympics held in Mexico City in the 4 x 400 metre relay where he won the silver medal with his team mates Munyoro Nyamau, Naftali Bon and Charles Asati.
Rudisha lives in Kilgoris. His son, David Rudisha, is also an athlete who won men's 800 metres race at the 2006 World Junior Championships in Athletics and currently holds the world record for the distance.
