Western Flyers is the franchise which represents most of the Central, Southern and Eastern North Island in New Zealand Netball's National Bank Cup. 2007 is the final year of the competition. The succeeding competition will feature a team comprised of a merged Flyers and Capital Shakers.

Franchise

The Flyers franchise is based in New Plymouth, Wanganui, Napier and Palmerston North. The franchise recently amalgamated the Eastern Netball Region (which is an amalgamation of Napier, Hastings, Gisborne, Wairoa, Central Hawke's Bay and Dannevirke Netball).
