Thiago Lacerda

Thiago Lacerda (born January 19, 1978 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) is a Brazilian actor.

Thiago spent his childhood between the Rio de Janeiro, where he was born, and Recreio, mining town where the grandparents live. She devoted to the swim from three to 16 years of age, billing more than 170 medals. Convinced that it would be very difficult to make a living with the sport, withdrew the idea of being professional swimmer and started to make beaks as a model, besides working as a salesman for a clothing store. After the success as Matheo, participated in the miniseries Aquarela do Brasil and the novels The Daughters of Mother and The Kiss of the Vampire. In 2003, he was invited to live Giuseppe Garibaldi in the miniseries The House of Seven Women. The actor considered the role a real gift, because, since the time of Terra Nostra studying and admired the life of the Italian revolutionary.
