The Sugar Club restaurant inWellington ,New Zealand in 1986 followed by two British incarnations in London'sNotting Hill , in 1996 andWest Soho , London in 1998. In 2001 he set upThe Providores and Tapa Room Restaurant on Marylebone High Street with his partner Michael McGrath and 2 other partners. Michael and Peter are now sole owners of the business, along with the owners ofchanga restaurant in Istanbul (Tarik Bayazit and Savas Ertunc), and UK based Annie Smail.In 2004 he set updine by Peter Gordon restaurant in theSKYCITY Grand Hotel Auckland , followed soon byBellota tapas bar in 2006.Peter and Michael are also co-owners of the lauded vineyardWaitaki Braids in North Otago, New Zealand.Peter's personal website iswww.peter-gordon.net Restaurants
