RFA "Abadol" was a tanker in the British
Royal Fleet Auxiliary She was built in
Glasgow as the Elder liner "Montezuma " byAlexander Stephens and Sons Ltd in 1899. She was converted to adummy battleship mimicking HMS "Iron Duke" in 1914. She later became the tanker "Abadol" in 1915. In February 1917 she was renamed "Oakleaf". She was lost five months later when onJuly 25 1917 she was torpedoed by the Germansubmarine UC-41 64 miles NW1/4W from theButt of Lewis .Characteristics
