|George Doyle is a gaelic football player from
County Laois inIreland .He played on the Laois senior football team throughout the 1990’s, primarily as a defender but also in midfield. During that period he was widely regarded as one of the top players in the country in his position as he was chosen to play on the Leinster team.
In 1991, he played on the Laois team beaten by Meath in the final of the
Leinster Senior Football Championship .With his club
Courtwood , George won aLaois Junior Football Championship in 1986 and aLaois Intermediate Football Championship in 1987.He was manager of the Laois under 21 Football team in 2005.
