It was released for theCommodore 64 ,Atari 8-bit ,ColecoVision ,ZX Spectrum ,MSX , andApple II , based on thecomic strip "B.C." byJohnny Hart . The name of the game is a play on the title of the contemporaneousfilm , "Quest for Fire".The game is an
action game taking place on several consecutive levels. The player takes the role of thecaveman B.C., who has to rescue his girlfriend, the Cute Chick, who has been kidnapped by adinosaur . To do this, he must travel on his stoneunicycle through several levels. Each level involves B.C. moving from the left to the right, avoiding various dangers.The levels start out simple, with B.C. having to jump over
pothole s or duck undertree branches. Later levels become more complex, for example B.C. having to jump overturtle s in a lake or be carried over a swamp by a bird. Other "B.C." characters, such as the Fat Broad, also appear on some levels.A sequel, "", was released in 1984.
