Ezequiel Alejo Carboni (born April 4 1979, in Buenos Aires) is an Argentine football Defensive Midfielder.

Carboni started his career with Club Atlético Lanús in the Primera Division Argentina in 1998. He was signed on a 3-year contract by FC Red Bull Salzburg in 2005; he spent three seasons with them, winning two Austrian Bundesliga titles.

On June 2008, Carboni, who also holds Italian citizenship, was signed by Serie A club Catania on a 3-year deal.
