Arthur White (actor)

Arthur White (born 1933 in Finchley, London) is a English actor of stage and screen. He is probably most famous for his role as a police archivist PC Ernest 'Ernie' Trigg in the popular UK detective drama, "A Touch of Frost", alongside his real life brother David Jason. He also appeared in Londons's Burning in the mid to late 90s playing a character named Derek.

His first TV appearance was in Let's Have a Murder with Jimmy Jewel in 1950. He's got an acting career spanning over 55 years.

In 2008 he appeared alongside Jason again in "The Colour of Magic" as "Rerpf", a guild representative.
