Paul Clark is a musician and business entrepreneur, possibly best know as the keyboard player of
post-punk bandThe Bolshoi .Biography
Born June 12 in Leeds, Yorkshire, Paul was educated at Lofthouse Gate County Primary School, Benton Park Grammar School and finally at Jacob Kramer College of Art. After leaving college he worked as a sign designer at Oldham Signs and at 23 moved to London to work at a music store on Kilburn High Road. A few months later he formed The Intimates with Jo Broadberry (Jo Broadberry and The Standouts), Danique Osborne, Mick Rossi (Slaughter And The Dogs) and John Altman (Nick Cotton in Eastenders).
During this time Paul was introduced to manager Pete McCarthy (Westworld) who was managing a new band recently signed to Beggars Banquet called
The Bolshoi . Paul joined as keyboard player and a few weeks later made his first appearance with the band at what turned out to be their first sold out show at The Marquee Club on London's Wardour Street. Several months later the band recorded "Friends", their first full length album, at Townhouse Two, with producer Mick Glossop.Clark is currently CEO of Walkthrough Media [http://www.walkthroughmedia.com/] , a Seattle based virtual tour company, and also an editor at ElectronicMusic.com [http://www.electronicmusic.com/] .
