Nexus (Australian band)

"Nexus" was an acid jazz and funk band based in Sydney, NSW, Australia.

The band performed live between 1999 and 2003 and was referred to as "Sydney's hottest young jazz band" in Sydney's Daily Telegraph in 2000. Major performances included the 2001 Sydney NRL Grand Final.

Nexus had a guitar, sax, bass, drums and jazz vocalist line up with core band members being Adam Lai (guitar), Michael Mead (sax), John Towadros (bass) and Chris Kollias (drums). The band played with various singers.
