Supriya Devi (Bengali: সুপ্রিয়া দেবী), also known as Supriya Choudhury (Bengali: সুপ্রিয়া চৌধুরী) (born 1933) is an Indian Bengali female actor, acting in Bengali cinemas for more than 50 years.cite web

Early life

Supriya Devi was born in Michkina, Myanmar (then Burma). Her father was noted lawyer Gopal Chandra Banerjee. During World War II, a great number of Indians returned to India after settling in Burma. Supriya's family ended up settling in the southern part of Calcutta.cite web
