Aharon Roth

Rabbi Aharon Roth, known as Reb Ahrele (d. 6 Sivan [personal communication, Reb Zalman Schachter-Shalomi] , 1946), was the founder of the Shomrei Emunim, Toldos Aharon and Toldos Avraham Yitzchak Hasidic dynasties. He was born in Satmar, Hungary and died in Jerusalem, the capital of Israel.

He was the author of several modern-day classics of Hasidic literature, including "Shomer Emunim", "Taharath HaKodesh", and "Shulchan HaTahor".
