Flores was Chilean Champion eleven times: 1931, 1935, 1938, 1941, 1944, 1950, 1951, 1952, 1956, 1961, and 1965.

Rodrigo Flores was an outstanding civil engineer. He entered the
Chilean Academy of Sciences on 1970. On 1993 he won the national prize offered by Colegio de Ingenieros de Chile.References
