Kenmore, Akron, Ohio

Kenmore is a community in southwest Akron, Ohio. It is bisected by I-277 and US 224. The current mayor of Akron is Don Plusquellic, incidentally a graduate of Kenmore High School. Kenmore is the 9th ward out of the 10 that make up Akron. Its Ward Councilman is Mike Freeman. Mike Freeman like the mayor is also a graduate of Kenmore High School. Mike was raised in Kenmore, and has always had a love for his community making him a promising candidate for the position of councilman. He was first elected in 2001 and serves to this day.
