The Bills are a folk music quintet from the West Coast of Canada. They have developed a unique style of acoustic arrangements, blending traditional influences from North America, Europe, Latin America, and Romany. Formed in 1996, the band has performed throughout North America and Europe.

The Bills

Though the lineup has had a few changes since the band first formed, the present-day Bills include:
* Marc Atkinson - mandolin, guitar, banjo
* Richard Moody - fiddle
* Chris Frye - guitar
* Adrian Dolan - fiddle, piano, accordion
* Scott White - bass

Awards

In 2006, The Bills won a Western Canadian Music Award for Entertainer of the Year. They were also nominated for Video of the Year.

Other Information

Frye served as basketball coach for Grade 8 and 9 between the years of 1991-1992 at St. George's School, an elite all-boys private school in Vancouver, B.C. This followed a basketball career at the University of British Columbia where he still holds the school record for career technical fouls.
