Galina Yakovlevna Zmievskaya (born 1952) is a
figure skating coach, formerly based inOdessa ,Ukraine . Her students have included Olympic championsViktor Petrenko andOksana Baiul , World Junior championVladimir Petrenko , U.S. national champion Scott Davis, and Italian championSilvia Fontana . She also worked withViacheslav Zagorodniuk andTakeshi Honda early in their careers. She briefly coached Georgian skaterElene Gedevanishvili in early 2007. Oksana Baiul , Zmievskaya acted as her guardian following the death of her mother.
