binomial_authority = (Heude, 1888)The Calamian Deer, "Axis calamianensis" also known as Calamian Hog Deer is a species of deer found only in the Calamian Group of Islands of Palawan province of the Philippines. It is one of three species of deer native to the Philippines.

A typical height for males of 60-65cm has been reported. Males have three-tined antlers.

Unlike the hog deer ("Axis porcinus") of the Asian mainland, their fawns are not spotted at birth.

There are few natural predators except for birds of prey and pythons.
