LORAN-C transmitter Malone

LORAN-C transmitter Malone is the master station of the Southeast U.S. LORAN-C Chain ( GRI 7980) and the Whiskey Secondary of the Great Lakes chain ( GRI 8970). It uses for both chains a transmission power of 800 kW.Baudette LORAN-C transmitter, situated near Malone at 30°59'39" N, 85°10'9" W,(coord|30|59|39|N|85|10|9|W|). Malone LORAN-C transmitter uses as antenna a 213.4 metre ( 700 ft) tall mast radiator.
