Ryan Powdrell (born December 20, 1983, in city-state|Santa Margarita|California) is an American football fullback who is currently a free agent. He was signed by the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2007. He played college football at Southern California.

Early years

Powdrell prepped at powerhouse Mission Viejo High School where fellow Trojans Drew Radovich and Mark Sanchez played.

College career

Powdrell played college football at the University of Southern California after transferring from Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, CA. Switched from linebacker to fullback before his first season with USC, Powdrell was the top rusher in the USC Trojans' 2006 season opening blowout win against the Arkansas Razorbacks but suffered a season ending injury early in the second game against Nebraska.

Professional career

Green Bay Packers

Powdrell signed with the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent in April 2007. He spent his rookie season on injured reserve. Powdrell was released by the Packers on August 25, 2008.
