Joseph Cardamone (* 01.01.1979) best known as lead singer and songwriter for
Los Angeles rock n' roll bandThe Icarus Line . Born in 1979 in Los Angeles, Joe was recognized early on as a visual artist.Fact|date=February 2008 Propelling through visual arts programs and discovering a gift for music at a very early age, he convinced childhood friends to buy musical equipment to form a band. In middle school he befriended life long confidant and bonded a musical partnership with Alvin DeGuzman. The two played various instruments in various punk rock bands. None of the groups reached beyond local aspirations until Joe formedThe Icarus Line in 1999. Another noteworthy partnership was formed in 2002 with singer/songwriterAnnie Hardy ofGiant Drag . Joe and Annie have recorded and performed live together a number of times since. In the ten years as a recording musician he has recorded and produced on over 20 albums.Fact|date=February 2008 The Icarus Line has toured extensively on four continents.
