Richard W. Dortch was a former president of the
PTL Christian evangelical television network, a network typically featuring speakers affiliated with theAssemblies of God . In 1988 he, along with other executives of PTL, was indicted on federal charges of fraud and conspiracy. In aplea bargain , Dortch pled guilty to reduced charges.Richard W. Dortch was the Illinois District Superintendent of the Assemblies of God from 1970 - 1983.
