Theodore Henry Power is a former Major League Baseball pitcher who played from 1981-1993.

Power was born on January 31, 1955, in Guthrie, Oklahoma. The right-handed pitcher and right-handed batter went to college at Kansas State University. In his major league career, Power played for the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Cincinnati Reds, the Kansas City Royals, the Detroit Tigers, the Saint Louis Cardinals, the Pittsburgh Pirates, the Seattle Mariners and the Cleveland Indians. He is currently the pitching coach for the Louisville Bats.

Major league career

1980s

In by|1981, he played for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He played five games and had a record of 1-3. He also had two games saved. He pitched in 14.3 innings and let up 6 runs and 16 hits. He had seven walks and seven strikeouts. His ERA was 3.14.

In by|1982, Power pitched in 12 games and went 1-1. He pitched in 33.7 innings and let up 27 runs on 38 hits.

In by|1983, he played with the Cincinnati Reds. He played in 49 games and went 5-6. He pitched in 111 innings and let up 62 runs on 120 hits.

In by|1984, Power pitched in 78 games and went 9-7. He let up 37 runs on 93 hits in 108.7 innings.

In by|1985, he threw in 64 games and went 8-6. He pitched in 80 innings and allowed 27 runs in 65 hits.

In by|1986, he threw in 56 games and went 10-6. He pitched in 129 innings and allowed 59 runs on 115 hits.

In by|1987, Power pitched for the Reds in 34 games and went 10-13. He pitched in 204.0 innings and allowed 115 runs on 215 hits.

In by|1988, he played for the Kansas City Royals in 22 games and went 5-6. He allowed 54 runs on 98 hits in 80.3 innings. He also played for the Detroit Tigers in four games. He went 1-1 in those and allowed 13 runs on 23 hits and pitched in 18.7 innings.

In by|1989, Power played for the Saint Louis Cardinals in 23 games. He was 7-7. He allowed 47 runs on 96 hits and pitched in 97 innings.

1990s

In by|1990, Power played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and pitched in 40 games and went 1-3. He pitched in 51.7 innings and let up 23 runs on 50 hits.

In by|1991, he played for the Cincinnati Reds again and played in 68 games and pitched in 8.0 innings, allowing 37 runs on 87 hits.

In by|1992, Power played for the Cleveland Indians and played in 64 games and went 3-3. He played in 99.3 innings and allowed 88 hits and 33 runs.

In by|1993, he played in 20 games and went 0-2 for the Indians. With the Indians, he played in 20.0 innings and allowed 30 hits and 17 runs. In the same year, he also played for Seattle and played in 25 games and had a record of 2-2. He pitched in 25.3 innings and allowed 11 runs on 27 hits.
