Devonshire Road Junior School was a school in Layton, Blackpool, Lancashire.
2003 Arson attack
This school is located on "Devonshire Road" half-way between the residential area of Layton, and Blackpool town centre. In August 2003 the original school (built in Victorian times) suffered an arson attack in the early hours of the morning causing £7m of damage, and after long deliberation was totally demolished and rebuilt as a modern, state-of-the-art school.
