The Notables (band)

The Notables are a ska revival band from Seattle, consisting of Jonny Horn and Matt Nims. They released their debut album "Quite Notable" in 1997. The album consisted mostly of original tracks, but included several cover versions of tracks by such artists as Jimi Hendrix.

The band's other members, Clive Williams, Lester Moore, Lonesome Jerome, Winston Sharples, Malcolm McDermott, Snuff Wilson and Gitsie are actually invented names that Horn and Nims crafted for the sake of marketing.

The band's rendition of the song Perdido was featured in season two of "The Sopranos". Their music also features in the 1999 comedy film The Sex Monster.
