U. J. Esuene Stadium

U. J. Esuene Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Calabar, Nigeria. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Calabar Rovers. The stadium has a capacity of 25,000 people and opened in 1977. It has been chosen to host a preseason tournament in July 2008 that includes Manchester United and Portsmouth and has been short-listed as a stadium for the 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
