"Emerald Princess" is a
Grand Class cruise ship forPrincess Cruises that entered service in April 2007. Her sister ships includeCaribbean Princess and Crown Princess. She features two nightclubs, a piazza style atrium, multiple pools and hot tubs, a spa, and a gym.Unlike her sisters, Emerald Princess does not have a disco overhanging the stern, but the same stern as her near-sisters Diamond Princess andSapphire Princess .Amenities
Amenities onboard include a basketball court and the Princess's innovative "Movies Under The Stars" theater. The ship also features an enlarged fitness area, multiple pools, an ice cream and pizza bar, the traditional "lido" grill, a 24-hour buffet, several lounges and bars, a full sized show theater, the popular nightclub Skywalkers, a wine bar , a specialty coffee bar and a casino .
Restaurants
The restaurant choices onboard remain quite similar to both the Caribbean and Crown Princess. One dining room offers traditional 1st and 2nd seatings, and two dining rooms are available for 'anytime dining' with a reservation, and the Horizon Court buffet and Cafe Caribe are open 24 hours. As alternatives to traditional dining, one can opt to dine at the specialty restaurants 'Sabatinis' and the 'Crown Grill'; however, they carry a cover charge ($20 for Sabatinis and $25 for Crown Grill) and often require reservations. There are additional opportunities for hors d'oevres and desserts in the Piazza cafes and the Adagio Bar.

Interior Rooms
*Interior rooms, which are approximately 160 square feet (Approximately 15 square meters), are nearly identical in decor and layout throughout the ship. Each has a private bathroom, 2 twin beds that convert to queen, a small fridge, decent sized closet, and a television. A few have a 3rd or 4th berth.
Oceanview Rooms
*Porthole Oceanview rooms are similar to interior rooms as well as standard oceanview rooms with the exception of porthole windows. These types of rooms are only found in the lower decks of the ship. Totals about 168 square feet (Approximately 16 square meters).
*Standard Oceanview rooms are similar to porthole oceanview rooms noting the main exception being that windows are square instead of circular. These rooms are found anywhere from the lower to middle decks. These rooms total about 168 square feet (Approximately 16 square meters).Balcony Rooms
*Balcony staterooms include a balcony, and include all previously listed features. They are slightly larger if you include the balcony. These rooms' total areas range from 214 to 257 square feet (Approximately 20 to 24 square meters). (Note: Balcony rooms have much larger balconies than mini-suites).

*Family Suites are the equivalent of two rooms connected by a living room. Each includes all previously listed features with the exception of an oversized balcony, and can accommodate up to 8 people.
*Mini-suites include all features previously listed and an additional television, a walk in closet, and a bathroom with both tub and shower. They also include a separate sitting area with a bed, desk, and sofa. These rooms total about convert|323|sqft|m2 including a balcony (Approximately 30 square meters).
*Regular suites have all the previously listed features with an addition of a wet bar. Oversized balcony. These rooms total about 468 to convert|591|sqft|m2 depending on category (Approximately 45 to 55 square meters).External links
