Bob Plamondon FCA is leading Canadian public policy specialist. His skills as a researcher, consultant and writer have been applied in the fields of governance, financial reporting, public finance and Canadian history.
Plamondon’s two bestselling books are about making Canada stronger. They are:
*Hay West: A story of Canadians Helping Canadians (Red Deer Press)
*Full Circle: Death and Resurrection in Canadian Conservative Politics (Key Porter) Bob earned a Masters of Management Studies and B. Comm. (Honours) from Carleton University. In 1983 Bob became a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and was elected Fellow (FCA) in 2003. His work experience includes over 20 years as an independent consultant; full and part-time professorship at three universities over a twenty-year period; and, authorship of numerous public policy studies and reports.In 1988 Bob ran for federal Parliament as a Progressive Conservative.
Plamondon is a community activist having served numerous organizations and boards. He is currently the volunteer treasurer for the Sierra Club of Canada.
Plamondon lives in Ottawa, Ontario and is married to Marian Coke. Children are Nathaniel, Charlotte, Megan and Michael.
