Jakub Voráček (born August 15, 1989) is a professional ice hockey player who plays for the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League. He was drafted seventh overall by the Columbus Blue Jackets at the 2007 NHL Entry Draft on June 22, 2007. Voráček was taken first overall in the 2006 CHL Import Draft and played two seasons with the Halifax Mooseheads of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. He also represented the Czech Republic at the World Junior Ice Hockey Championship in 2007 and 2008. Voráček was on Team Bergeron-Burns for the 2007 CHL-NHL top prospects game, scoring one goal.
