Laila Ali andJackie Frazier-Lyde (daughters ofMuhammad Ali andJoe Frazier , respectively), became professional boxers, Freeda Foreman decided to pursueboxing herself, hoping that her last name, and the fact that George Foreman fought both Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier, would bring her big money fights against Laila and Jackie. As it turned out, Freeda Foreman had a short career in boxing.On
June 18 of 2000, she beatLaquanda Landers by a two roundknockout in Las Vegas, to mark her professional boxing debut. After four more wins, she suffered her only loss at the hands ofEvelyn Rodriguez , by a four round split decision, onNovember 20 of 2001, inHumble, Texas .Apparently discouraged by defeat, she has not returned to a boxing ring since. She had a record of five wins and one loss, with three knockout wins.
