Fang Lijun (born 1963, Handan, Hebei province, China) is an artist based in Beijing.

He has shown work internationally in exhibitions including "The Next Ones" at Alexander Ochs [http://www.alexanderochs-galleries.de/content.html] , Beijing, "New Work, New Acquisitions" at the Museum of Modern Art [http://www.moma.org] in New York and "Alors, le Chine?" at the Pompidou Centre [http://www.centrepompidou.fr] in Paris. He is represented by Galerie am Gendarmenmarkt [http://www.galerie-am-gendarmenmarkt.com/] in Berlin, Thomas Erben [http://www.thomaserben.com/] in New York, Soobin Art International [http://www.soobinart.com.sg/] in Singapore and Hanmo Gallery [http://www.hanmo.com.cn/] in Beijing. Fang Lijun is a founder of the Cynical Realist style in China and works often include aggressive, bald figures.
