A foot injury severely hampered his efforts early in the year and when ready for a re-call against West Coast he received a medial ligament knee injury and was out for 5 weeks. After 2 games back with Werribee in the VFL he was selected for the Roos Round 13 clash against Hawthorn and has remained in the team since.
