SMC Networks is a hardware manufacturer of equipment such as network cards, switches, wireless routers, broadband routers, VDSL, network attached storage servers, and IP cameras.

SMC Networks designs, produces, markets and services LAN and connectivity solutions for small and medium enterprises, home and office users. The company's headquarter is located in Irvine, California in the United States.

SMC maintains a global presence through regional offices located in the Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia-Pacific and Japan.

SMC was founded in 1971 and in 1997 became a subsidiary of Accton Technology Corporation (TAIEX:2345). SMC Networks serves its target customers through an extensive network of VARs and Internet Service Providers.

Products

SMC Networks offers two key product families.
