July 28 ,2006 and it was expected to be completed in 2009. It would be the tallest building of Panama andLatin America . Palacio de la Bahía was designed by architect Jesús Díaz. The construction cost of Palacio de la Bahia was expected to be USD $200 million.Features
Palacio de la Bahía would have a mixed style expression of modern design with classical elements such as Jonical and Corinthian capitals, Venetian

The main developer declared in a press statement that the building was impossible, impractical to build. The original architect has come forward saying that this building was totally possible and said that the problem was financial.
