Haggis Baggis was an American game show that aired on NBC from 1958 to 1959. The hosts included Jack Linkletter for the primetime version, and Fred Robbins and Dennis James for the daytime version. The announcer was Bill Wendell.

Gameplay

The object of the game was to correctly identify a celebrity's picture concealed behind a 25-square game board. Players would announce one of five categories (i.e. 1950's Movies) and one of five letters of the alphabet that appeared on the game board. If they could identify an object or et cetera from that category, that portion of the game board was revealed. The first contestant to identify the celebrity won the game.

The bonus game consisted of the winner choosing a prize package from a choice of two. If the opponent could identify which one the winner would choose, the opponent would win the other prize package.

Episode Status

The show has not been rerun since its original airing. The series is most likely to be wiped out due to policies of wiping, used to recycle tapes of the show to be reused for another one. This was quite common during the 1950's. However, a couple have managed to exist.
