Amalia Mendoza García (23 July 1923 in San Juan Huetamo,Michoacán –11 June 2001 inMexico City ) was one of Mexico's most famous ranchera singers whose career lasted over 40 years. She was nicknamed "La Tariácuri" after her brothers' group the Trio Tariácuri.Biography
