Charles Van Rensselaer III

Charles Van Rensselaer III (April 19, 1926 – July 16, 1999) was a member of the Rensselaer family of New York.

Along with his brother Philip, Charles Van Rensselaer was one of the few remaining members of the historic Rensselaer family. Charles Van Rensselaer died at age 73 in an automobile accident in Palm Beach, Florida, where he had resided for thirty years. Interment was in St. John's Cemetery in Cold Spring Harbor, New York; he was survived by his brother Philip.
