Positive Vibes FM

Positive Vibes FM is a private radio station in Belize and the radio arm of the ruling People's United Party.

Conversion to Positive Vibes

The former FM 2000 was bought by the ruling People's United Party and turned into a station called Positive Vibes FM, on the same signals as the original FM 2000 and run by PUP public relations veteran Vaughan Gill. It began broadcasting on November 13, 2006.

From June 18 to August 31, 2007 and again since September 18, 2007, Great Belize Television Channel 5 broadcast the Morning Show from 7 to 9 AM.

* Morning Show featuring Glenn Tillett (since January 2007 joined by Marshall Nunez, Vaughan Gill, and Gilroy Press Cadogan on Fridays. Since February 2008, hosted by Darrell Carter and featuring Vaughan Gill and Albert Vaughan.)

* G2 (arts program starring The Grandmaster Leroy Young and Angela Gegg)-Thursdays
* Weekday news with Rene Mendez and Mike Nicholson
* Latin Vibes feat. Cesar Emilio Gonzalez-Weekday afternoons
* Youth Vibes feat. Elden "Stone Jam" Hyde-Weekday afternoons
* Village Vibes (Sunday mornings)
* BBC World News (via satellite, weeknights at 11:00 PM Belize time, 0500 GMT)
* Torque It Up (featuring Rhenae Nunez; Tuesdays)
