Kurt Long (born on
July 2 ,1973 in Fall River,Massachusetts ) is an American televisionactor /comedian who began pursuing acting while in high school. He attendedEmerson College were he earned a degree in communications. He moved toLos Angeles when he was hired as a production assistant on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno ".His acting career started taking off with a recurring role in the 2003 TV sitcom "Abby" and in a small role in the comedy film "Soiree". He has since appeared in a couple of reality shows including "Games Across America" as host, a recurring role in "
Scare Tactics ", and has guest starred in a number of comedy and drama television series including "Miss Match ", "Cuts " and "Without a Trace ". In early 2007, he landed the co-starring role of anchorman Kurt McNally in the now defunct news satire show "The 1/2 Hour News Hour " on theFox News Channel .Kurt is also currently appearing in commercials for the Pella Windows, and Lowe's Home Improvement. He has appeared in over 60 nationwide commercials throughout his career.
