HMHEC

HMHEC (Hickory Metro Higher Ed Center) is a collaborative partnership among several colleges and universities. According to the HMHEC website, the mission of the HMHEC is to support and enhance the educational attainment and economic development of the Hickory, NC, region by offering a broad range of programming in targeted areas of study as needed and requested by the community.

HMHEC offers a range of degree programs and continuing education courses as well as offering facility rental for educational programs.

Degree programs

Degree programs are offered through the participating institutions, including bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees.

Continuing education

Currently, HMHEC is offering for-credit continuing education programs through Duke University. HMHEC also hosts a variety of day and luncheon programs by local businesses.

Facility rentals

HMHEC offers a selection of rooms for rental, including a video conference room and a computer lab.
